Sydney/Barcelona based neo-soul singer-songwriter, emerging producer Angela Paez known for her captivating vocals and left of centre melodies, covers Frank Oceans ‘Cayendo’.
“‘Cayendo’ is such a raw song and it carries so much emotion. First time I listened to it I had this impulse to sing it. I love the simplicity of it. In Frank Ocean’s record you can almost hear the metronome in the background. ‘Cayendo’ means falling in Spanish, the song is about a love that isn’t reciprocated. My favourite line says ‘Si esto no me ha partido, ya no me partiré, nunca’, ‘if this didn’t break me, nothing ever will’. So simple but so strong.
