Renata and Laura become each others muses for their first collaborative portrait series.

“Renata and I met at the gallery in Paris where she was exhibiting her work along with other female photographers. I saw her burnt polaroids sticked to the wall - mysterious and poetic and dark and so many other things…In that moment I thought, that I’d like to meet this girl and her beautiful mind. We ended up chatting all evening and that first encounter left us with many ideas and an urge to create something together.”

My name is Laura, I'm a model and creative director based in Paris. Although I live in France which is a creative Mecca for many and for a reason I feel very inspired by post soviet aesthetics I was surrounded with growing up in Belarus. I also spend a lot of time in India and that is my spiritual power source.

Renata is a fashion photographer and director based in Paris. Originally she comes from a small town in Siberia, Russia. Her serious interest in art and culture has led her to explore the practical and historical aspects of the creative industry in Europe. At the moment she is really inspired by creators’ fashion and video work produced in South Korea and Japan.

So, this is our first collaborative portrait series. We became muses for each other in the process and that is the most precious outcome.'“
