Meet ANGELES; Sydney based artist Pete Sotiropoulos, who after hiatus with previous band Betty & Oswald, dives into the surreal world of home recording. Obsessed with Patti Smith, The Breeders, Beach House and David Lynch, he’d spend hours in his detached Newtown bedroom, lit up in all hours of the dark night, and surface in the morning with demos that he’d share with his close friends. ‘Crush’ emerged from these writing sessions and is the debut single for Pete and his new project ANGELES.
